How We Work

Our approach to every piece

Every watch that comes through our door goes through the same intake process regardless of which service it's in for. We document the piece on arrival, discuss the scope of work before starting, and provide a written record of what was done when the work is complete. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is started without your agreement.

1

Intake & Document

The piece is examined, its condition noted, and a numbered record created before any further steps.

2

Scope & Agree

We outline what the work involves and the associated cost. You confirm before we proceed.

3

Carry Out the Work

Work is done in-house using methods appropriate to the age and condition of the piece.

4

Return & Record

You receive the piece along with a plain-language summary of the work completed and current condition.

Service 01

Quartz Movement Repair

Quartz faults are often more straightforward than they appear, but they still require a methodical approach to identify the actual cause. We inspect the full circuit, check the coil, clean the battery contacts, and test timing accuracy before returning the piece. A written summary accompanies every job.

  • Full coil and circuit inspection to identify the fault source
  • Battery compartment cleaning and contact assessment
  • Timing accuracy check before return
  • Written summary of findings and work carried out

Typical Process

  1. 1. Intake inspection and condition photograph
  2. 2. Circuit test and fault identification
  3. 3. Component cleaning or replacement as required
  4. 4. Timing test and final check
  5. 5. Written summary prepared and piece returned

Service 02

Lume Refresh

Luminous material on older dials degrades and discolours over time. Where renewal is appropriate, we assess each marker individually and apply material that suits the period and character of the piece. We do not refinish dials as a matter of course — only markers, and only where the condition warrants it.

  • Individual marker assessment before any work begins
  • Period-appropriate lume selected to suit the dial's era
  • Dial integrity maintained throughout — no unnecessary work
  • Hands can be included if lume condition requires it

Typical Process

  1. 1. Movement removed and secured; dial examined under magnification
  2. 2. Degraded lume carefully removed from affected markers
  3. 3. New material applied in measured layers and cured
  4. 4. Visual check for consistency and dial surface condition
  5. 5. Movement refitted; legibility test in low light

฿21,000

Typical timeline

10–20 working days

Service 03

Pocket Watch Service

Older pocket watches require different handling than contemporary wristwatches. Parts are often no longer manufactured, cases can be fragile, and movements have tolerances that reflect a different era of production. We work on these pieces with care, and we'll tell you honestly if a piece would be better left as-is.

  • Mainspring inspection — replaced only if condition requires it
  • Movement cleaned and lubricated with period-appropriate oils
  • Case and hinge work carried out carefully without overpolishing
  • Timing regulated and checked across multiple positions

Typical Process

  1. 1. Detailed intake record and condition assessment
  2. 2. Movement disassembly and component inspection
  3. 3. Ultrasonic cleaning of movement parts
  4. 4. Reassembly with fresh oils; mainspring replaced if needed
  5. 5. Multi-position timing check and case work if agreed

Starting from

฿34,000

Typical timeline

3–6 weeks

Standards & Protocols

How we handle every piece

Secure Storage

Every piece is assigned a numbered intake record and stored in a secured area of the workshop when not actively being worked on.

No Work Without Agreement

We provide a written scope and cost estimate before starting any work. If findings change the scope mid-job, we contact you first.

Correct Lubricants

We use oils and greases matched to the movement type and age — not one product applied to everything.

No Unnecessary Intervention

If a piece is stable and further work would risk damage, we say so. Restraint is part of the service.

Verified Handback

We ask for identification at collection and cross-reference with the intake record. Your piece does not leave without confirmation.

Open Communication

Questions are welcome at any stage of the process. We're reachable by phone and email during workshop hours.

Tell us about the watch and what you've observed. We'll come back with a clear outline of what's involved and what it would cost — before any work begins.
